About Me

Meet Sue Williams

From an early age Sue has enjoyed making up stories but it was not until she took early retirement that she has been able to indulge her passion for writing. As one of the Ripon Scriveners, Sue has contributed a number of short stories with a humorous twist to their recent publication ‘A Chorus of Seven’.

She is currently writing about the Five Ladies, whose creation was inspired by the many wonderful women of a certain age who still enjoy life and having a good time.

Sue is a Soroptimist and a supporter of a wide range of charities, including Toilet Twinning, Dementia Forward, and The Trussel Trust. The profits of her debut novel, 5 Ladies and a Bus Called Bertha, are donated to these charities.
